  Health and Healing

LORD, thank You that by Your shed blood we are equipped with everything we need to accomplish Your will and purpose in our lives.  Your blood gives us victory over all that comes against us, equipping and providing exactly what is needed!!  We declare our faith in the blood of JESUS to bring our healing!!(Hebrews 13:20-21)

Salvation of the prodigals and lost 

LORD, we lift to You the prodigals of our families and the lost sheep of our community.  May they recognize the pig pen they’ve ended up in and the futility of “how it is”.  Open up the “ancient path” to Jesus that they have passed by in the past because it looked too hard and and “no fun”.  Open their eyes to see that THIS is the path to a life that has meaning and purpose!! (Luke 15:15-17/Jeremiah 6:16)

Our church body

Father, by Your Spirit, help us recognize that the pressures and troubles we face will reveal to us WHO we trust and WHAT we value.   Help us regard the “testing” as opportunity to honor You;  running to You for instruction and letting endurance have its perfecting work in our character!!   In this way we can be different from the rest of the world who grumble, blame and slander!!  (James 1:2-4/Psalm 106:25)

Our Pastor and Church leadership

Thank You Father, for the faith of our Pastor and church leadership!!  Grant them wisdom to help those who are struggling or faltering in their faith.  Fill them with patient compassion like Jesus had, so they are able to impart harmony and unity among the brethren.  May they bring You much glory as they edify and strengthen the church body with Your truth and promises from the scriptures!! (from Romans 15:1-10)

Missionaries

Father, since our missionaries are surrounded by witnesses, give them desire and discernment in throwing off (and letting You prune off) hinderances that entangle their work and calling!  By Your Spirit, focus their attention completely on Jesus…who THEN is able to produce the faith needed to run their “race” with endurance empowered by Your JOY!!  (Hebrews 12:1-2)

Children/Youth/Young Adults

Father, we pray that our young people will experience and KNOW how much You love them so they can be rooted and established in it.  We want them to grasp how wide, long, deep and wide the love of Jesus is so they will never doubt their worth or value to You!

Military, Vets and Law Enforcement

Psalm 140:7/Dt.20:4/2Samuel 22:40

Father, shield and cover our troops and our police in days of challenge, battles and attacks.  Be WITH them to fight for for them and discourage the adversary.  Arm them all with strength to withstand every conflict.  Humble their enemies before them!

America

Genesis 28:18/Matthew 28:18/6:9-10

LORD, may our intercessory prayers for this nation become an “Iron Dome Shield” of divine protection over America.  You ARE our shield!  All authority over heaven and earth is Yours!   We ask that You would release it over our President and his cabinet and over our congressional leaders who honor You in all their decisions.  May the agenda that is of Your grace and wisdom be empowered by Your Spirit to overcome the agenda of the evil one.  May YOUR Kingdom come and Your will be done throughout our nation!!
