  Healing Prayer and Health

Matthew 7:7-11 Father, as these afflicted “ask”, “seek” and “knock” for their health from You; knowing that You give good things to those who ask….we join them in their asking, that they may receive and find the doorway to healing and health!  ….according to the promise and Your powerful mercy and love for them!

Salvation of the lost and prodigals  

John 3:16-17 Father, You love our prodigals (and rebellious and lost), so much that You gave them Yeshua (…the Salvation of God! ) so that if they will believe that…..even now, they will be saved, changed and given the place in Your family they were intended to have!  You didn’t send Him to condemn them but to save them!  By Your Spirit, Father, work in their lives to draw them to the only One who can rescue them from the captivity of death and the curse!

Ekklesia

Philippians 4 All of us, whose names are in the book of life, agree in the LORD and rejoice in Him always.  When we find ourselves struggling with anxious thoughts we will pray and take our concerns to You along with our thanksgiving!  Because THEN, Your peace that passes understanding will come to guard our hearts and minds.  Father, help us keep our thoughts focused on whatever is worthy of praise and lovely, pure, and excellent instead of focusing on everything that is wrong and bad!  For YOU are with us!  Teach us how to dwell in “contentment”, no matter what our circumstances are.  For we can do ALL THINGS through You, LORD, as You strengthen us for it.  We trust You to supply our needs from YOUR resources, as we walk with You in love, staying connected in obedience!

Children, Youth and Young Adults

Psalm 119:9-16 Father, keep our youth hungry for Your Word, for that will keep them pure and “on track” with Your plans for their lives. As they begin to treasure Your Word they won’t desire to leave the boundaries You and their parents have set for them.  Teach them truths that will excite them and spill out of them to anyone who will listen!  Attract the people around them to their wisdom and richness of faith!  Strengthen them in their pursuit of knowing You and hearing Your instruction.  Use Your Word in their songs, their devotions and in preaching, to fix their focus and goals!   Be their delight as they learn that You are delighting in them!!  Keep them uncorrupted by the world influencers.  Influence them with Your Word!!

Our Pastor and his ministry team

1 Corinthians 1:4-9 Father, we give thanks for our pastor and his ministry team because of the grace You have given them, enriching them in all speech and knowledge!  You have continually confirmed their testimonies.  They are not lacking in any gift of Holy Spirit to equip us for service in this community.  We give thanks for them and ask You to sustain them to the end by Your faithfulness in calling them, sanctifying them and leading them.  We speak Your blessing on them from Numbers 6:24-26 and in doing this, we will be putting Your beloved Name on them and they will be blessed by You, our Almighty GOD! May the LORD bless you and keep You!  The LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.  The LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace!

Nazarene Missionaries and Ministries 

1 Thessalonians 1:2-10 Thank You Father, for these missionaries and ministry leaders that You chose and You raised up!  Thank You for their work of faith, labor of love and their steadfast hope that keeps them in place!  Father validate their ministries with power….may the Word that they live and proclaim bring full conviction as the Holy Spirit moves people to turn from idols to You…..the One True God!  Cause the faith of these missionaries and ministry leaders to be well known in their areas of influence.  When they experience set backs or affliction, fill them with Holy Spirit JOY, for that will renew their strength to press on.  Deliver them in all the wrath coming on the earth in this season and surround them with Your love!!

American Military/Vets/Law Enforcement/Fire Fighters

Psalm 18:1-3,16-19,39 Father, we intercede for the military men and women; also the law enforcement men and women.  Come be their Rock and fortress, for then they will know that You are their strength, shield and the power that saves them!  Reveal Yourself to them as a “place of safety” that the enemy cannot penetrate!  Scatter the enemy that comes against them as they uphold the law and protect this country!  Reach down from heaven to rescue them and steady them!  Arm them with strength for their battles!

Local Leaders

Luke 16:12-13/18:14 Father, reward the “faithful” among our leaders who are trustworthy with budgets and money.  Those who are honest with the little things will be faithful with things they don’t personally benefit from!  Take away power and influence from those who are dishonest and irresponsible with other people’s prosperity.  For those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves (serving “we the people”) will be exalted!

America

Romans 11:8-10 Father, give our enemies and those who would destroy this nation and wreck its freedoms, a spirit of stupor.  Let their table (of planning and conferencing) become a snare and trap; a stumbling block and retribution.  Darken their eyes and bend their backs for a season that this country can regain faith and favor until we are strong enough to restore a biblical and righteous culture.   Hold back the angel of death and destruction from this nation, until the full number of gentiles are saved!
